Our Story

Kahama Farms LLC conducts farming activities on a 5-acre parcel in Kauai. We wanted to honor the agricultural nature of this property and purposely planted fruit, coconut, and other palm trees several years ago with the goal to harvest and sell the fruit and propagate and grow palm trees.

The primary focus of our agri business is operating as a wholesale nursery selling rare palm trees and other trees and shrubs on a wholesale basis to local nurseries. However, in 2023, we started selling fruit from the mature fruit trees and coconuts from the mature coconut trees.

We have focused our wholesale nursery on hard-to-find palm trees and currently propagate over seven hundred (700) trees and plants from cuttings and seeds from our existing field stock.

We offer a range of ready-to-plant coconut and palm trees. Whether you’re looking for rare palms or unique coconut trees, our nursery is here for whatever you might need.
Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles (CRB) infestation is devastating and widespread in Kauai. Some estimates are more than 50% total loss of coconut trees on Kauai within 5 years. Trees are expensive to treat and protect. Host plants are coconut, royal, date and fan palms (although CRB can attack other varieties). Careful consideration should be given into what trees you are going to invest in. Choose trees that you can easily have regular access to the crowns for inspection and treatment (think dwarf coco trees).
These trees have been tediously propagated from our own healthy trees. All the plants and trees in our nursery are handled with extreme care.
Our nursery is located in Kauai and we only allow for pickup.
